We Support Olympics, STRONGLY Oppose Lakewood Location - Be Honest

You may or may not be aware of the establishment of a website set up by the LCFPD to promote the idea of having large-scale Olympic constructions in Lakewood Forest Preserve.

Dear ELECTED Officials,

Please count me and my family as a big NO for Olympics in our Forest PRESERVE. Your scheme to create a shock and awe campaign to redefine nature is a program for disaster. It is incredible to me that any person sworn to preserve our natural surroundings would even consider such a proposal.

I have always voted to approve funds for open space aquisitions which translates into higher taxes for our family. I believe in the far sighted view of preserving the quality of life here in my town and my county and I am willing to pay for it. I will not only keep voting that way, but now I will actively work to unseat the short sighted members of the Lake County Forest Forest Preserve Board.
